International Admissions Process

We are so pleased to welcome students from around the world to become a part of the CSCL family!  Please find the information below about the enrollment process for international students.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in high school level courses. (9th-12th grades)
  • Applicants must be proficient in the English language to the degree of being able to function in the classroom setting without the assistance of a translator. Fluency is determined through skype or phone interview which includes a written portion.
  • Applicants must make a personal statement of their Christian faith
  • Applicants must have no major disciplinary issues as attested by parents and previous school officials.
  • Complete transcripts must be translated to English and converted to a 4.0 grade scale
  • Parents of applicants must show financial ability to cover all tuition and living costs for the duration of the students enrollment.
  • Parents of applicants must provide proof of health insurance for applicant
  • Parents of applicants must commit to provide all travel costs to and from country of origin and Host family home as well as all necessary funds for living expenses while attending CSCL
  • Parents and applicants must agree to follow all policies found within the CSCL handbook by signing the Covenant Agreement Form.

Admission Process:

  1. Fill out and submit our online application form.
  2. Submit documentation of proof of ability to meet all expenses for the entire school year.
  3. Submit completed and translated to English transcripts from previous school, converted to a 4.0 grade scale
  4. Submit TOEFL scores
  5. Complete Skype or phone interview with principal. Prospective student and parents should participate in interview.
  6. I-20 may be issued to student at this point
  7. Submit up-to-date immunization forms.
  8. Submit copy of birth certificate or valid Passport
  9. Submit student housing questionnaire and remaining enrollment documents
  10. Once the  F-1 visa is secured, student and/or family notifies the Admissions office of travel and arrival dates at the school.
  11. Housing arrangements and financial arrangements are to be finalized prior to student’s arrival.
