Notes:
Missing a day of class (five hours) in this 28-day block is the equivalent of missing more than an entire week of class on a traditional high school schedule (50 or 55 minute classes). If your son or daughter must miss class, please let me know as soon as possible, and expect that they will have to study and/or complete worksheets and assignments outside of class. If the absence is on Thursday, arrangements should be made for them to make up the test. We don't have time to waste!
TESTS: We have a chapter test each Thursday. We are on track! Remember, students may use their NOTES but not their textbooks, so please encourage them to take notes in class!
